Softball Recap: Heritage Takes a Loss + How To Watch

After flying high against Flint River Academy on Tuesday, Heritage came back down to earth. The Hawks came up short against the Loganville Christian Academy Lions on Wednesday, falling 11-1. The Hawks haven't had much luck with the Lions recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Heritage saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Izabella Sewell, who went 1-for-2 with one run and one double.

Heritage's defeat dropped their record down to 6-8. As for Loganville Christian Academy, their win bumped their record up to 9-7.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Heritage will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Dutchtown at 4:00 p.m. on October 8. As for Loganville Christian Academy, they will take on Athens Christian at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Eagles will aim to continue their six-game streak of scoring more runs each game than the last.
