Basketball Recap: Immaculate Heart Proves Higher State Rank Is No Mistake

Immaculate Heart won the last time they faced Flintridge Sacred Heart and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Immaculate Heart Pandas strolled past the Flintridge Sacred Heart Tologs with points to spare, taking the game 52-38. Given the Pandas' advantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 322nd, while the Tologs are ranked 692nd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Immaculate Heart's win bumped their record up to 12-4. As for Flintridge Sacred Heart, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-7.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Immaculate Heart will take on Marymount at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Flintridge Sacred Heart, they will face off against Notre Dame Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
