 In what's become a running theme this season, Stockbridge gave their fans yet another huge  win on Friday. They never let the Mt. Zion Bulldogs onto the board and left with  a   15-0  victory. The  win was familiar territory for Stockbridge who now have seven in a row.
  Preston Wright was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he  struck out seven batters over  three innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   one  hit (and not a single walk). Wright was also solid in the batter's box,  scoring two  runs and  stealing a base.
 In other batting news,  Bryce Bause and  Jeremiah McGeachy did most of the damage at the plate:  Bause  went 1-for-3 with a  home run, two  runs,  and a  stolen base, while  McGeachy  scored two  runs and  stole two bases while going 1-for-2.  Zach Evans was another key contributor,  scoring a  run and  stealing two bases while  getting on base  in all two of his plate appearances.
 Stockbridge has  been performing  well recently as they've  won eight of their last ten matchups,  which provided a nice bump to their 10-5 record  this season. As for Mt. Zion, they dropped their record down to 2-11 with that  defeat, which was their 20th straight  on the road dating back to last season.
 The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Stockbridge beat Mt. Zion by a score of  18-3 later that day.
