The Palo Alto Vikings lost against the Mountain View Spartans back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. Palo Alto suffered a rough 4-1 defeat at the hands of Mountain View. Things were pretty much settled by the half as Palo Alto was already down 3-0.
This is the second loss in a row for Palo Alto and nudges their season record down to 7-4-2. As for Mountain View, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 11-3-4.
Palo Alto will head out on the road to challenge Los Gatos at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Los Gatos' last five matches have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Mountain View, they will look to defend their home pitch on Tuesday against Homestead at 7:00 p.m. Homestead will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Mountain View surely won't give up without a fight.
