Central faced Catholic in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Thursday. The Tigers never let the Rockets get on the board and left with a 2-0 win. The result kept Central happy, as they haven't lost a game since March 19th.

Central is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-3-3 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 18 goals over those seven matches. Having lost for the first time this season, Catholic fell to 7-1-5.
