Softball Recap: King's Ridge Christian Comes Up Short

It was a good run, but King's Ridge Christian unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Mount Paran Christian Eagles by a score of 6-5. If the Tigers were looking for revenge after losing 9-0 to the Eagles when the teams met back in October of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

King's Ridge Christian saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Karina French, who went 2-for-3 with two runs. Another was Bella Qui?ones, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one run.

King's Ridge Christian's loss dropped their record down to 9-6-1. As for Mount Paran Christian, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 12 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-6 record this season.

Coincidentally, King's Ridge Christian and Mount Paran Christian will both be playing Mount Vernon the next time they take the field. The Tigers will head out to face the Mustangs at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, while the Eagles will host them at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
