It was a proper cat-fight when Ringgold took on Ridgeland on Thursday. The Tigers had just enough and edged out the Panthers 4-2. The Tigers have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Panthers, too.

Emorie Coles spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned runs on two hits and racked up eight Ks. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two hits in three consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Jillian Eaker was excellent, going 2-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI. That's the most hits she has posted since back in September. Lilah Grace Runion also deserves some recognition as she hit her first double of the season.

Ringgold hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Ridgeland struck out eight times.

Ringgold's victory bumped their record up to 7-17. As for Ridgeland, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 11-17.

As of now, neither Ringgold nor the Panthers have any future games scheduled.
