After both having extra time off, the Sutter Huskies and the Casa Roble Rams will shake off the cobwebs and square off against one another at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
Sutter is headed into the match having just suffered their biggest loss since November 27th last Saturday. They had to suffer through a 77-44 loss at the hands of Faith Christian. While losing is never fun, the Huskies can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 484th, while the Lions are ranked 196th).

Sutter might have lost, but man, Torrence Harter was a machine: she dropped a double-double on ten points and ten rebounds. Harter has been hot for a while, having also posted two or more steals the last 43 times she's played. Sydney Meagher was another key player, putting up nine points.
Even though they lost, Sutter smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 13 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 12 offensive boards in three consecutive contests.
Meanwhile, Casa Roble didn't have too much breathing room in their game against Del Campo last Saturday, but they still walked away with a 53-47 win.
Casa Roble's win came from a few key players Sutter will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Lily Benevent, who posted 16 points along with seven boards and six assists. The team also got some help courtesy of Paisley Canady, who had 12 points in addition to seven steals and five assists.
Sutter has traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-7 record this season. As for Casa Roble, they now have a winning record of 7-6.
Rebounding is likely to be a big factor in this contest: Sutter has been smashing the glass this season, having averaged 37.1 boards per game. However, it's not like Casa Roble struggles in that department as they've been averaging 31.5 boards. With both teams battling to corral missed shots, we'll see if one team can grab an edge.
Sutter beat Casa Roble 49-40 in their previous matchup back in December of 2017. One of the biggest obstacles trying to stand in the way of that victory was Casa Roble's Adamaris Solis, who posted 15 points along with six boards and four steals.
