Two dominant signal callers in Legend Bey and JOHNNY HAMILTON are getting ready to go toe-to-toe. The North Forney Falcons will welcome the Longview Lobos at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
North Forney's defense heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Thursday. They blew past Royse City 47-0. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Falcons' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Texas football rankings (they are ranked 17th, while the Bulldogs are ranked 64th).

This one was won in the trenches and the lion's share of the credit has to go to Cordai Woodard and Andikan Asuquo. Woodard rushed for 137 yards and two touchdowns on only seven carries while Asuquo rushed for 134 yards and one TD on only 14 carries. That's the most rushing yards Asuquo has posted since back in October of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Kam Johnson, who rushed for 31 yards and one score.
North Forney was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 440 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 215 rushing yards every time they've taken the field this season.
North Forney didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Deuce Gilbert and Josiah Turner. Turner is also on a roll when it comes to total tackles, as he's now made six or more in each of the last five games he's played.
Meanwhile, Longview made easy work of Rockwall-Heath on Friday and carried off a 31-7 victory. The win continues a trend for the Lobos in their matchups with the Hawks: they've now won six in a row.
Longview's win came from a few key players North Forney will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was JADEN HURNDON, who picked up 116 receiving yards and one TD. He was no stranger to the big play, connecting on a big catch that went for 55 yards. Another player making a difference was KAIDON GRAVES, who gained 65 total yards and two touchdowns.
North Forney's victory bumped their record up to 7-1. As for Longview, their win bumped their record up to 5-3.
Friday's matchup might be decided on the ground. North Forney has been unstoppable on the ground this season, having averaged 377 rushing yards per game. However, it's not like Longview struggles in that department as they've been averaging 205.5 rushing yards. There's a good chance Friday's game turns into a tough fight on the ground.
North Forney suffered a grim 21-0 defeat to Longview in their previous matchup back in November of 2024. Thankfully for the Falcons, Kelvin Washington (who rushed for 221 yards and one touchdown while picking up 9.6 yards per carry) won't be suiting up this time.
