Basketball Recap: Diamond Ranch Skates Past Chaffey with Ease

It was a proper cat-fight when Diamond Ranch challenged Chaffey on Friday. The Diamond Ranch Panthers took their matchup with ease, bagging a 74-34 win over the Chaffey Tigers. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 48-28 back in January.

Diamond Ranch's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Jazlyn Wint led the charge by dropping a double-double on 23 points and 12 rebounds. Those 23 points gave Wint a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Jordyn Brooks, who went 6 for 11 from beyond the arc on her way to 18 points.

Diamond Ranch smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 11 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least nine offensive rebounds in seven consecutive contests.
