Basketball Recap: Kimball Beats Edison for Their Second Straight Victory

Kimball won the last time they faced Edison, and Emma Coronado did her part to make sure it happened again. The Kimball Jaguars simply couldn't be stopped on Monday as they easily beat the Edison Vikings 66-31 thanks in part to Coronado, who went 13 of 26 en route to 32 points and five assists. Those five assists gave her a new career-high.

When it comes to explaining why Edison lost, don't look at Aniyah Wilson. Despite the final result, she posted 21 points.

The victory made it two in a row for Kimball and bumps their season record up to 9-3. As for Edison, they have also traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-7 record this season.

Kimball has already played their next matchup, a 38-36 win against Tracy on the 7th. As for Edison, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 69-29 loss against Ponderosa on the 10th.
