Soccer Recap: Orange Takes a Loss

Orange lost against Los Amigos on January 9th and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Orange Panthers took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Los Amigos Lobos. While losing is never fun, the Panthers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 1022nd, while the Lobos are ranked 429th).

This is the second loss in a row for Orange and nudges their season record down to 3-10-2. As for Los Amigos, the win was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 12-1-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Orange has already played their next match (against Bolsa Grande), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Los Amigos will be playing at home against Loara at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday. Los Amigos is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 4.2 goals per game this season.
