Soccer Recap: La Serna Takes a Loss

La Serna's game on Tuesday was all tied up 0-0 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They fell 2-0 to the Ayala Bulldogs. The Lancers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Bulldogs apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in February of 2020.

La Serna now has a losing record at 1-2-1. As for Ayala, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

La Serna will venture away from home to face off against Rosary Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. La Serna's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for three straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end. Ayala has already played their next game, a 2-0 loss against Los Osos on the 11th.
