Softball Recap: Grain Valley's Undefeated Season over After Three Games

Grain Valley managed to slip by Blue Springs South the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Eagles lost 9-2 to the Jaguars on Monday. Having soared to a lofty 12 runs in the game before, the Eagles couldn't push the score so high this time.

Having lost for the first time this season, Grain Valley fell to 2-1. As for Blue Springs South, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-4.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Grain Valley will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Ruskin at 4:00 p.m. on the 22nd. As for Blue Springs South, they will take on Lee's Summit West at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
