Soccer Recap: Woodward-Granger Takes a Loss

Woodward-Granger was the 3-0 winner over Ames when they last played one another back in May of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Hawks fell just short of the Little Cyclones by a score of 1-0 on Friday.

Woodward-Granger's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Ames, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-0.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Woodward-Granger will welcome Southeast Polk on Monday. As for Ames, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Northwood-Kensett at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
