Baseball Game Preview: Cabell Midland Knights vs. Raceland Rams

Cabell Midland took a loss when they played away from home on Friday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Tuesday. They walked away with a 5-1 win over Boyd County.

Meanwhile, Raceland had already won five in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 6.4 runs) and they went ahead and made it six on Wednesday. They skirted past the Highlanders 5-3. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Rams have posted since April 15th.

Raceland pushed their record up to 21-5 with the win, which was their seventh straight on the road. Those road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.9 runs over those games. As for Cabell Midland, the win got them back to even at 11-11.
