Basketball Recap: Apostles Lutheran Comes Up Short

Apostles Lutheran lost against Luis Valdez Leadership Academy back in November of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Apostles Lutheran Falcons had to suffer through a 42-2 loss at the hands of the Luis Valdez Leadership Academy Lions. The Falcons were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 24-0.

Hally Zou was Apostles Lutheran's leading scorer, having posted two points. Katie Marchese held things down on the boards with six rebounds.

Apostles Lutheran's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Apostles Lutheran will venture away from home to face off against Mid-Peninsula at 4:00 p.m. on December 16th. As for Luis Valdez Leadership Academy, they are taking a road trip to take on Oakwood at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
