Volleyball Recap: Millennium Comes Up Short

Millennium was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the River Islands Riptide. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Riptide this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

The match finished with set scores of 25-6, 25-6, 25-16.

Millennium's loss dropped their record down to 4-9. As for River Islands, they are on a roll lately: they've won 13 of their last 14 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-3 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Millennium will face off against rival Turlock Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, River Islands is set to square off against their familiar foe Aspire Langston Hughes Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
