California High School Volleyball - Millennium bounced by River Islands

River Islands Riptide (Lathrop, CA) boosters left the game thrilled Tuesday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Millennium Falcons (Tracy, CA), 3-0 in a league test.

With the win, River Islands improves its record to 21-3 on the season. The Riptide host Aspire Langston Hughes Academy (Stockton, CA) to meet the Titans in a Central California Athletic Alliance challenge on Thursday, October 16. The Titans come into the challenge with a record of 0-9.

Next, the Falcons meet the Turlock Christian Eagles (Turlock, CA) in a Central California Athletic Alliance challenge, on Thursday, October 16. Millennium will attempt to upgrade on its 3-11 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 3-18 record after their 3-0 league loss to Ben Holt College Prep Academy (Stockton, CA).
