California High School Volleyball - Venture Academy overwhelmed by River Islands

October 21, 2025: Lathrop, CA 95330

The River Islands Riptide were victorious over the visiting Venture Academy Mustangs volleyball team by a margin of 3-0 in Tuesday's league outing.

The Riptide now possess a 23-3 record. They play next when they travel to Ben Holt College Prep Academy for a Central California Athletic Alliance outing on Thursday, October 23. River Islands will play a Bobcats team coming off a 3-0 league win over Millennium (Tracy, CA). The Bobcats record now stands at 27-6.

The Mustangs (10-12) will now prepare for their game against Turlock Christian (Turlock, CA). The Eagles enter the non-league game with a 4-20 record. In their last game, Turlock Christian gained a win over Aspire Langston Hughes Academy (Stockton, CA), 3-1, in a league game.
