Dodge County has gone a perfect 3-0 against Central recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Wednesday. The Indians will square off against the Chargers at 4:30 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Dodge County came out on top against Washington County on Tuesday thanks in part to the team's impressive six-run seventh inning. The Indians put the hurt on the Golden Hawks with a sharp 11-2 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Indians.

The team relied heavily on Jimiah Burns, who went 2-for-3 with two triples, three runs, and one stolen base. Those two triples gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Braylee Johnson, who went 2-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI.

Dodge County was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .393. They are a perfect 7-0 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.

Meanwhile, Central got the win against Jefferson County on Tuesday by a conclusive 21-6. The win continues a trend for the Chargers in their matchups with the Warriors: they've now won four in a row.

The victory got Central back to even at 11-11. As for Dodge County, their win bumped their record up to 9-10.

Everything went Dodge County's way against Central in their previous matchup two weeks ago, as Dodge County made off with a 9-1 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Indians since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
