The Chester Clippers just played yesterday, but they'll still head out to face the Executive Education Academy Charter School Raptors at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday. Chester is coming into the match hot, having won their last five games.

Chester is headed into the game having just posted their closest win since January 14th on Friday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past Upper Moreland 60-57. The win almost wasn't to be: the Clippers were down 34-19 in the second quarter.

Chester's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Ja'Mya Muhammad, who went 11 for 15 en route to 28 points and five steals. Muhammad is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last 14 games she's played. Another player making a difference was Imani Dorsey, who went 7 of 16 on her way to 18 points in addition to seven assists and five blocks.

Meanwhile, Executive Education Academy Charter School entered their tilt with Brandywine Heights Area on Wednesday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They walked away with a 42-32 victory over the Bullets. Given the Raptors' advantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 224th, while the Bullets are ranked 462nd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Chester pushed their record up to 18-3 with the win, which was their eighth straight on the road. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.6 points over those games. As for Executive Education Academy Charter School, their record is now 11-8.

Chester was able to grind out a solid victory over Executive Education Academy Charter School in their previous meeting back in December of 2024, winning 48-37. The rematch might be a little tougher for Chester since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
