Softball Recap: Canton Takes a Loss

Canton managed to slip by Hannibal the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Tigers came up short against the Pirates on Thursday, falling 13-3. The Tigers' loss continues a trend for the team, making it six in a row.

Canton's defeat dropped their record down to 4-8. As for Hannibal, their win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 2-10.

Looking ahead, Canton will take on Community at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday. The Tigers' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Trojans have averaged an impressive 6.4 runs per game this season. As for Hannibal, they will head out on the road to take on Moberly at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
