Westlake came tearing into Friday's matchup with five straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 41.2 points), and they left with even more momentum. Everything went their way against the Bowie Bulldogs as they made off with a 30-7 win. The team accrued 28 points in the first half and coasted on those for the victory.

The critical scores for Westlake came from Jack Newhouse, Rees Wise, Rhett Jenkins, and Jarren Lopez.

Westlake's record now sits at 6-1. As for Bowie, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-4 record this season.
