Softball Recap: Madill Takes a Loss

After flying high against Idabel on Friday, Madill came back down to earth. The Wildcats lost 13-1 to the Atoka Wampus Cats on Friday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wampus Cats this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 13-3 two weeks ago.

Madill dropped their record down to 6-20 with the loss, which was their sixth straight at home. As for Atoka, their win ended a five-game drought on the road and puts them at 3-7.

Looking ahead, Madill will head out to take on Lone Grove at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Atoka, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 5-1 victory against Whitesboro on the 20th.
