Southeast came tearing into Thursday's contest with 12 straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 9.8 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They walked away with a 4-1 victory over the Capitol Hill Redwolves. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 7-0 on Tuesday.

Southeast's win bumped their record up to 15-3. As for Capitol Hill, their loss was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-5.

Coincidentally, Southeast and Capitol Hill will both be playing Putnam City North the next time they take the field. The Redwolves will head out to face the Panthers at 5:00 p.m. on Monday, while the Spartans will play them later in the day, at 6:30 p.m.
