Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Redwood Valley). Their defense stepped up to hand the Atwater-Cosmos-Grove City Falcons a 47-0 shutout on Friday. The victory was familiar territory for the Cardinals, who have now won three contests in a row.

Redwood Valley's win bumped their record up to 6-1. As for Atwater-Cosmos-Grove City, their loss was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-7.
