Basketball Game Preview: Norristown Eagles vs. Upper Perkiomen Indians

The Norristown Eagles are taking a road trip to square off against the Upper Perkiomen Indians at 6:45 p.m. on Thursday. Norristown comes in still looking for their first win of the season.

It was a Battle of the Birds when Norristown took on Pottsgrove on Tuesday. Norristown fell just short of Pottsgrove by a score of 41-38. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Eagles have suffered against the Falcons since January 16, 2018.

Meanwhile, Upper Perkiomen had to endure a three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They walked away with a 36-28 win over Pottstown on Tuesday.

Upper Perkiomen's victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 5-11. As for Norristown, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-16.

Norristown came up short against Upper Perkiomen when the teams last played back in December of 2024, falling 38-28. Can Norristown avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
