Fort Madison is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. Everything went their way against Danville on Wednesday as they made off with a 17-2 victory. The team's explosion at the plate also rewarded the Bloodhounds with their most commanding win of the season.

Meanwhile, Washington entered their tilt with West Burlington on Saturday with four consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with five. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Falcons a 13-0 shutout. That's two games straight that the Demons have won by exactly 13 runs.

Washington pushed their record up to 19-6 with the win, which was their tenth straight on the road. The road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.0 runs over those games. As for Fort Madison, their win bumped their record up to 7-8.
