Lassen extended their winning streak to six on Friday, bumping them up to 8-2. They blew past the Central Valley Falcons, posting a 53-6 win. Considering the Grizzlies have won eight games by more than 20 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Lassen got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Dathen Moore out in front who rushed for 93 yards and one score on only five carries, and also picked up 61 receiving yards. Moore got the majority of those rushing yards when he took off on a run that went for an incredible 61 yards. Dowan Stephens also helped with two touchdowns in total.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Lassen was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 329 rushing yards. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Central Valley only rushed for 114.

As for Central Valley, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-8. The contest marked their lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

When it comes to explaining why Central Valley lost, don't look at Drason Recio. Despite the final result, he rushed for 67 yards and one TD.

Coming up, Lassen will welcome Corning at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Grizzlies will be up against the Cardinals' rather soft defense (which has allowed 26 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. Central Valley does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
