Softball Recap: Arkoma Comes Up Short

Monday just wasn't the day for Arkoma's offense. They lost 19-0 to the Howe Lions on Monday. The Mustangs' defeat continues a trend for the team, making it three in a row.

Arkoma's loss dropped their record down to 4-10. As for Howe, they pushed their record up to 11-5 with the win, which was their sixth straight on the road.

Arkoma will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Clayton at 5:00 p.m. on the 22nd. As for Howe, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, an 8-1 victory against Panama on the 8th.
