Basketball Recap: San Leandro's Win Ends Three-Game Losing Streak on the Road

San Leandro's game last Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Monday. They enjoyed a cozy 52-38 win over the Concord Bears. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Pirates also won the last time the pair played back in December of 2015.

When it comes to explaining why Concord lost, don't look at Lamiyah Washington. Despite the final result, she dropped a double-double on 22 points and 11 boards. Washington has been hot for a while, having also posted three or more steals the last 16 times she's played. Another player making a difference was Lorena Cardenas, who posted seven points and five rebounds.
