Softball Recap: Franklin County Comes Up Short

Franklin County fell victim to Hebron Christian and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They came up short against Hebron Christian, falling 9-0. Having soared to a lofty 13 runs in the game before, Franklin County's shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Franklin County's loss dropped their record down to 5-5. As for Hebron Christian, their victory was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 12-1.

Looking ahead, Franklin County will venture away from home to take on Prince Avenue Christian at 4:45 p.m. on Thursday. The Wolverines' pitching crew has only allowed 2.3 runs per game this season, so the Lions' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Hebron Christian, they will take on Hart County at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
