Basketball Recap: Maxwell Wildcats vs. Overton Eagles
Maxwell was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They took a hard 41-27 fall against the Overton Eagles. The game marked the Wildcats' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Loss or not, Maxwell got some senior leadership from Kristyn Cheek and Madelyn Flock. Cheek dropped a double-double with 11 points and ten rebounds, while Flock posted ten points along with seven boards and three steals. Those three steals set a new season-high mark for Flock.
Overton's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Gracen Hughes, who went 6-for-11 on her way to 13 points and five rebounds.
