Meanwhile, Mt. Zion got themselves on the board against Manchester on Thursday, but Manchester never followed suit. They were the clear victors by a 16-0 margin over the Blue Devils. The Eagles might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven matchups by ten runs or more this season.

Bowdon's victory bumped their record up to 16-7. As for Mt. Zion, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 8-10.

Bowdon took their victory against Mt. Zion in their previous meeting last Thursday by a conclusive 10-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for Bowdon since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
