Soccer Recap: Holy Trinity Comes Up Short

Holy Trinity was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They lost 6-3 to the Phillips Wildcats. Things were pretty much settled by the half as Holy Trinity were already down 6-1.

Holy Trinity's defeat dropped their record down to 1-9. As for Phillips, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-4.

Holy Trinity wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next matchup, a 4-1 loss against Horizon Science Academy-Southwest on the 3rd. As for Phillips, they will head out to face off against Alcott at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Phillips will be up against Alcott's rather soft defense (which has allowed 3.5 goals per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
