Basketball Recap: Choctaw Takes a Loss

Choctaw lost against Broken Arrow back in March of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Choctaw Yellowjackets took a 54-41 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Broken Arrow Tigers. While losing is never fun, the Yellowjackets can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma basketball rankings (they are ranked 36th, while the Tigers are ranked first).

Choctaw's defeat dropped their record down to 9-6. As for Broken Arrow, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 15-1.

Choctaw won't have much time to rest: their next game is against El Reno at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Broken Arrow, they and Southeast will face off at 11:30 a.m. on Friday without much rest having both just played.
