Basketball Recap: Farrell Falls Short of Bishop Carroll in the Playoffs

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Farrell can now relate to. They were beaten by the Bishop Carroll Huskies 54-22 on Wednesday. Having soared to a lofty 56 points in the game before, the Steelers couldn't push the score so high this time.

Bishop Carroll was led to victory by Adelyn Myers and Ava Pablic. Myers shot 47% from the field en route to 20 points along with six rebounds and four steals, while Pablic dropped a double-double with 11 points and 14 boards. The dominant performance gave Pablic a new career-high in boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Madison Delauter, who posted eight points.

Farrell's loss dropped their record down to 4-12. As for Bishop Carroll, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-7 record this season.

Farrell does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Bishop Carroll, they will face off against Williamsburg at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Bishop Carroll is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 51.2 points per game this season.
