Volleyball Recap: Owen Valley Comes Up Short

Owen Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Speedway Sparkplugs.

Owen Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 5-22. As for Speedway, the win snapped their losing streak at three matches and leaves them with a 7-21 record.

The two teams are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. Owen Valley will face off against Cascade at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Speedway, they will take on Edgewood at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
