The hard-throwing left-hander has struck out at least 15 batters in 12 of her 16 starts with a high of 20 in a 4-0 win over Lennard. Cable pitched a no-hitter in that game with three walks.

Also a force at the plate, Cable is hitting a team-best .500 (31-for-62) with four doubles, seven homers and 22 RBI. She's also stolen nine bases in 10 attempts.

As of Monday, Cable is one of 11 pitchers in the state to strike out at least 200 batters. At least 50 have struck out 132.
