West Middlesex took a blow against Slippery Rock, falling 60-33. The defeat continues a trend for the Big Reds in their matchups with the Rockets: they've now lost three in a row.

Meanwhile, Mercer strolled past Moniteau with points to spare on Friday, taking the game 53-38. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Mustangs.

West Middlesex's loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 1-2. As for Mercer, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

West Middlesex was able to grind out a solid victory over Mercer in their previous meeting back in February, winning 45-32. Will West Middlesex repeat their success, or does Mercer have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
