Baseball Recap: Landmark Christian Victorious

The Landmark Christian War Eagles were able to grind out a solid victory over the Mount Pisgah Christian Patriots on Saturday, taking the game 11-6. The win made it back-to-back victories for the War Eagles.

Landmark Christian let Taylor Casson and Connor Eberhart run wild. Casson got on base in four of his five plate appearances with three runs and one stolen base, while Eberhart went 4-for-5 with two runs and two RBI. That's the most runs Eberhart has posted since back in February. The team also got some help courtesy of Dylan Staples, who went 2-for-5 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI.

Landmark Christian's win bumped their record up to 12-10. As for Mount Pisgah Christian, they are on an 11-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-20.

As of now, neither Landmark Christian nor the Patriots have any future games scheduled.
