Softball Recap: Tahlequah Snaps Five-Game Streak of Wins on the Road

Tahlequah lost against Sequoyah back in August of 2019, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Tigers fell just short of the Indians by a score of 4-3.

Lilly Garcia made the most of her time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 1-for-2 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double.

Tahlequah's loss ended a five-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 18-3. As for Sequoyah, their win bumped their record up to 15-8.

Tahlequah wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 6-0 victory against Shawnee on the 8th. As for Sequoyah, they have also already played their next contest, a 15-3 win against Quapaw on the 8th.
