Basketball Recap: Hamilton Wins Going Away Against Maxwell

Hamilton won the last time they faced Maxwell and things went their way on Friday too. The Hamilton Braves took down the Maxwell Panthers 36-20.

Ally Odom was Hamilton's leading scorer, having posted 11 points. Isabella Lozano held things down on the boards with eight rebounds.

Despite the loss, Maxwell saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Joceline Montero posted 11 points. Those 11 points gave Montero a new career-high.

Hamilton's win bumped their record up to 5-16. As for Maxwell, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-17.

Hamilton has already played their next match (against Colusa), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Maxwell didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 49-14 victory against Williams on the 4th.
