Yerba Buena had to endure a six-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They put the hurt on the Harbor Pirates with a sharp 32-11 win on Tuesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory the Aztec Warriors have posted since January 18, 2024.

Despite the loss, Harbor saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Elise Dawson posted five points. That's the most points Dawson has posted since back in November of 2023.

Yerba Buena's win bumped their record up to 2-7. As for Harbor, they dropped their record down to 1-9 with the defeat, which was their 14th straight on the road dating back to last season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Yerba Buena will host San Jose at 7:00 p.m. on January 14th. As for Harbor, they will look to defend their home court on January 14th against Santa Cruz at 5:30 p.m. Santa Cruz will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Harbor surely won't give up without a fight.
