Manteca has gone a perfect 10-0 against Lathrop recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Buffaloes will be taking part in a tournament against the Spartans at 6:45 a.m. Manteca is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 2.8 goals per game this season.

Lathrop better have a healthy lead at halftime, because if Manteca's game on Monday is any indication, that's when Manteca really gets things going. The Buffaloes' defense stepped up to hand Patterson a 4-0 shutout. The high-scoring effort was just what Manteca needed considering they were shut out in their previous contest.

They hit Patterson with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Jazmine Aguilar, Layla Flannigan, Kailee JacKson, and Makayla Spencer.

Meanwhile, Lathrop was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They lost 7-1 to Johansen. Lathrop were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 5-1.

Lathrop's defeat dropped their record down to 3-12-3. As for Manteca, their victory bumped their record up to 15-4-2.

Manteca got the 'W' when the teams last played back in January of 2025 against Lathrop by a conclusive 3-0 score. Will the Buffaloes repeat their success, or do the Spartans have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
