Soccer Game Preview: Van Nuys vs. East Valley

The Van Nuys Wolves are taking a road trip to square off against the East Valley Falcons at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty goal totals in their previous games.

On Monday, Van Nuys made easy work of Vaughn and carried off a 9-1 victory. Van Nuys haven't had any issues with Vaughn recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Meanwhile, East Valley got the win against Valor Academy on Monday by a conclusive 6-1. With East Valley ahead 3-0 at the half, the matchup was all but over already.

Genesis Escobar and Kayla Arvizu scored all six of East Valley's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 11 goals.

Van Nuys' victory bumped their record up to 2-0. As for East Valley, the win got them back to even at 2-2.
