Soccer Game Preview: Denison-Schleswig vs. North Polk

The Denison-Schleswig Monarchs will face off against the North Polk Comets on Tuesday. Denison-Schleswig is coming into the contest hot, having won their last eight games.

On Tuesday, Denison-Schleswig made easy work of Sergeant Bluff-Luton and carried off a 4-1 win. The result was nothing new for Denison-Schleswig, who have now won 12 games by three goals or more so far this season.

Meanwhile, neither North Polk nor Bondurant-Farrar could gain the upper hand last Friday so the two teams had to settle for a 2-2 draw.

Denison-Schleswig pushed their record up to 13-4-5 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. The road wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 15 goals over those three matches. North Polk's draw makes their record 9-3-6 this season.
