For whatever reason, it's the away team that's had the advantage when Iowa City and Linn-Mar meet (six straight games heading into this one) and that held true again on Tuesday. The Little Hawks fell 5-0 to the Lions. The game marked the first time this year in which the Little Hawks were not able to get on the board.

Iowa City's defeat was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 6-7. As for Linn-Mar, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 14-2.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Lions beat Iowa City by a score of 7-5 on Wednesday.
