Basketball Recap: General McLane Comes Up Short

General McLane lost against Harbor Creek back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The General McLane Lancers took a 41-28 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Harbor Creek Huskies. The matchup marked the Lancers' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

General McLane has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-6 record this season. As for Harbor Creek, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 9-1.

General McLane and Harbor Creek should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Pennsylvania Rankings. General McLane will take on Oil City at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday up 362 places (208 vs. 570). Similarly, Harbor Creek (ranked 49th) will meet Fort LeBoeuf (ranked 584th) at 7:10 p.m. on Thursday.
